I’m an architect and have lived in Chicago since I graduated from UIC in 1995. I’ve been running for the last 4 years. When I’m not running or being an architect, I’m playing volleyball, traveling or working on renovating my home in East Lakeview. I love Chicago and spend as much of the summer as I can in the park and on the lakefront. I also enjoy Photography and American History.
In a short time, I have grown to love this sport for all that it has given me and everything it has allowed me to do. Chicago is a beautiful city for running and has one of the strongest running communities in the nation. This site is dedicated to all the friends I’ve made along the way. Especially to those who have inspired me to do everything I never knew I could. You know who you are.
This blog was based on the New York City Running Blog which I thought was a great idea. I was surprised that there wasn’t one for Chicago so I created it. This site is not intended as a center for expert advice, it’s purpose is to serve as place where like minded people can chat about the sport they love. I’ve only been running a few years, but I’ve met some amazing people and invite all of you to post any useful (or useless) ramblings. I’ll do the same and we’ll see what happens.
If you’re interested in some of my other ramblings, please check out This Old Condo Blog.

Hope all is well. I noticed written about Run Fat Boy Run. The film will be in theaters on March 28, 2008 and in anticipation we’ve created a widget. The widget includes a game called Blister Bash where users have a chance to win a private screening of the film. It might be humorous to your reader that have dealt with their own running woes. Let me know if you’d be interested in covering this.
Here is the embed code for the widget:
You can also grab the widget at the official Run Fat Boy Run Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/RUN-FAT-BOY-RUN/8783479421
Let me know if you need anymore info.
